Is there anyone who doesn’t hate Error? You are either programmer or a gamer, everybody hates bugs/errors. And one of the most irritating errors in Valorant history is Valorant Error Code 5 because it’s from the beginning and still exists because there’s a reason.
Riot developers are trying their best to fix bugs and errors. but still, there are some errors and bugs that they still haven’t been able to fix it and the Valorant Error Code 5 is one of them.
But to be honest, Valorant is one of those games that have fewer errors and bugs from my perspective.
Well, now let’s talk about the Valorant Error Code 5. In this article, we will know that what Valorant Error Code 5 is and how to fix Valorant Error Code 5.
What Is Valorant Error Code 5
The reason Valorant Error Code 5 occurs when they are updating the server or when it’s on maintenance or when there are too many loads on the server. This Valorant Error Code 5 usually shows up when you try to open it, also it shows up by kicking you while you are in the lobby or in the match. Now you have an idea of what is Valorant Error Code 5 is, now let move to how you can fix it.
How to Fix Valorant Error Code 5
There are several ways to fix this Valorant Error Code 5. One of them is patient. This means you have to wait for some moments until their server opens up again. For that, you can get updated by their Twitter account, in case if you want. But the thing I am trying to say is just to wait a bit until their server gets back. When you see that the server has back but still showing the same Valorant Error Code 5 then there are several ways to fix that too.
Restart Riot Client & PC & Router
As the server is up but still showing the same error, then the first thing you have to do is restart the Riot Client, after restarting the Riot Client, try to open the Balorant and if it shows the same error then close Valorant and restart your PC. When you have done restarting your pc, check valorant is working or not by opening it.
If you see still not working then try to restart your router which will help you to troubleshoot your wifi or home network or whatever you are using. By restarting the router, you will able to change/restart the route between the Valorant server and your internet. And if you see, these tricks still not working then the next thing we can do is to re-install Riot vanguard.
Reinstall Riot Vanguard
One of the best anti-cheat software is Riot vanguard and Sometimes the Valorant Error Code 5 still stays because of this Vanguard, that’s why try to uninstall it and then re-install to prevent this. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t. And if you see, it’s still not working or showing the error, then the thing you can do is to uninstall and re-install Valorant.
Reinstalling the game might work in this case but I hope doing those above’s troubleshooting will help you to fix the Valorant Error Code 5 but if it doesn’t, just uninstall the game from the control panel and re-install again. This will able to cure the error.
Contact to Support by Submitting a Ticket
And if you still can’t fix it then the next thing you can do to contact Riot support, they will able to help you why the error is still showing by accessing your account or whatever way they use but they will able to give you the info.
Ask to the Community
This is the last thing you can do is to ask questions in the Valorant community like Facebook groups, Reddit, and more. You will be updated there too as they always talk about the latest update. But to fix it or to know what’s going on you can just simply ask on those communities and players will help you.
To be honest, when I face the Valorant Error Code 5, i always close the game and take some time then when I open it after some minutes or maybe an hour, the game easily and smoothly runs, and sometimes I do have to Restart Riot Client and PC but never had to uninstall vanguard or either game. So I will suggest you just wait for some minutes or maybe an hour then you will able to play.
